Sick joke: Anti-Obama filmmaker indicted for election fraud

Dinesh D'Souza, a best selling author and creator of the documentary "2016: Obama's America" has been indicted for election fraud and causing false statement to be made to the FBI. The indictment alleges that D'Souza reimbursed some people for giving campaign contributions to a Senate candidate from New York. The amount that was allegedly donated was $20,000. Reuters: Federal law in 2012 limited primary and general election campaign contributions to $2,500 each, for a total of $5,000, from any individual to any one candidate. "As we have long said, this Office and the FBI take a zero tolerance approach to corruption of the electoral process," the U.S. Attorney for Manhattan, Preet Bharara, said in a statement released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
