Senate investigation of Trump-Russia ties falls asleep

Apparently, there is so little substance to see that the much hailed "bipartisan Senate investigation" into purported contacts between the Donald Trump campaign and Russia doesn't even have a full-time employee.  Does this sound as though they are hard on the trail of shocking revelations? Tim Mak of the Daily Beast reports: The Senate Intelligence Committee's probe into Russia's election interference is supposedly the best hope for getting the public credible answers about whether there was any coordination between the Kremlin and Trump Tower. But there are serious reasons to doubt that it can accomplish this task, as currently configured.
