One has to wonder what the outcome would have been if the shooter in Oregon who killed 13 people had been a fundamentalist Christian in the mold of Kim Davis.  And what if that person, rather than asking people their religion, had asked them if they support gay marriage – and put a bullet in the head of anyone who said yes? The outrage out of every politician's mouth, out of every newspaper, news website, and blog, would have been deafening: hate crime, hate crime, hate crime!  But since this man who ended up killing 13 people was a failed military recruit, apparently into the occult, and a loser when it came to attracting a female companion – as is the case with most of the other mass killers – the focus becomes all about gun control, and not about the murderer's many failures in life.  The only person to come out and declare this a hate crime against Christians was the actor James Woods, one of the few conservative voices in...(Read Full Post)
