FBI kills Orlando man with ties to Tsarnaevs

This story has the possibility of becoming very bizarre. According to the Wall Street Journal, the FBI was questioning a man with ties to the Boston bombers when he suddenly attacked them. One of the agents drew his weapon and killed him. The FBI said it was interviewing the man with other law-enforcement personnel "when a violent confrontation was initiated by the individual." An FBI agent, "acting on the imminent threat posed by the individual, responded with deadly force," the FBI said. The agent was taken to the hospital with unspecified but non-life-threatening injuries, the FBI said. A U.S. law-enforcement official said Mr. Todashev was among several people whom the FBI has interviewed in recent weeks for information on the suspects in the April 15 Boston Marathon bombings. Mr. Todashev wasn't accused of being involved in the bombings but knew at least one of the suspects, the official said.
