Palestinian who slaughtered Fogel family has no regrets

The two Palestinian teen-agers from Awarta (West Bank) who brutally slaughtered the Fogel family in their Itamar home (north of Jerusalem) on March 11, were officially charged with five counts of homicide on Sunday.  The Jerusalem Post reports:   The defendants, 17-year-old Hakim Awad and 18-year-old Amjad Awad, who are from the same clan, have confessed to stabbing and shooting two young brothers, their parents, and a three-month-old baby in the attack.   In a chilling statement to reporters, an unrepentant Amjad Awad proclaimed "I don't regret what I did, and I would do it again," adding "I'm proud of what I did and I'll accept any punishment I get, even death, because I did it all for Palestine."    The official charges provide details of how the Awads approached the home and noticed 4-year old Elad and his 11-year-old brother Yoav asleep in their beds and then entered the home and stabbed the boys to death.  The killers then made their way...(Read Full Post)
