Public records reveal that as Gore lectures Americans on excessive consumption, he and his wife Tipper live in two properties: a 10,000-square-foot, 20-room, eight-bathroom home in Nashville, and a 4,000-square-foot home in Arlington, Va. (He also has a third home in Carthage, Tenn.) For someone rallying the planet to pursue a path of extreme personal sacrifice, Gore requires little from himself.
Then there is the troubling matter of his energy use. In the Washington, D.C., area, utility companies offer wind energy as an alternative to traditional energy. In Nashville, similar programs exist. Utility customers must simply pay a few extra pennies per kilowatt hour, and they can continue living their carbon-neutral lifestyles knowing that they are supporting wind energy. Plenty of businesses and institutions have signed up. Even the Bush administration is using green energy for some federal office buildings, as are thousands of area residents.
But according to public records, there is no evidence that Gore has signed up to use green energy in either of his large residences.

Al Gore is a typical liberal. They always pass laws that we are supposed to obey but always exempt themselves. Its too bad the main stream media is in the tank for the left or some of this stuff would get reported once in a while so more people would hear about it. If these far left loonies take over in November the next four years are going to be insane!

This is new? Liberal and leftist philosophy is based on behaving differently from the masses.

Don't you realize how much that would cost to pay for the alternative electricity? Sure it may only be a little extra per kilowatt-hour, but multiply that by the Goracle's electrical usage and you have a small fortune. He might have to start flying commercial to get around. Us commoners can afford the green energy with our smaller houses and lower energy needs.

I have said to many a friend; I will take global warming seriously when Al Gore stops heating his pool. The state of the pool is observable from satellite.

It is a rule of thumb all over the world. People who sacrifice their life and efforts to make masses' life better leave very opuleent life. Why do you dare even think that Al Gore should live worse than Casto brothers? It is you who should ride bicycle and live in a hut. Then leaders feel better because contrast is sharper. Long live Al Gore! He learned the ropes and, alas, we don't.

Algore's latest doozy is his recently announced brilliant plan to convert the US to solar powered electrcity in 10 yrs, which he claims can be accomplished for a mere 1 trillion dollars. One must suspect that the reason his utility usage is so grand is the grow lights in the basement sucking up all that juice.

I have made bumper stickers to highlight the stupidity of Global Warming and one in paticular shows you Al Gore and his do as I say not as I do stupidity. Please check them out they are pretty cool if I say so myself.

The inconvient truth about Global Warming is that the globe has been cooling for the past year according to the University of Alabama Huntsville. Using globally averaged satellite-based temperature measurements in the lower atmosphere, the current global temperature average is the same as it was in 1979.
Also, the combined sea ice area at the North and South poles is increasing and is greater than the area measured in 1980 according to the National Snow and Ice Data Center

Algore has sold his soul to the devil with this global warming crap.

Al Gore is a disgrace. Has anyone looked into his investments in the "alternative energy" industry? I bet he is pulling all stops to get the government to subsidize that industry and thus to boost the value of his investments. It's a common leftist M.O. to separate our money from us.

Gorevich stands to make bazillions off his Green investment schemes. When the vast transfers of wealth seep into his coffers, he will be as powerful a player as Sauron Soros to move and shake the world economy at will. He'll be MORE powerful than the puny impotent POTUS...his and the socialist DNC's conspicuous election failure.
Lord Moncton correctly called him a 'fatuous nincompoop' because he won't publicly debate AGW on a world stage. BHO won't openly debate his policies either. As Marx dictated...a pure revolutionary is a 'mole' operating deep underground and never reveals himself to the daylight of public scrutiny. Their paid off toady sycophants in the MSM enable both of these creepy punks to do their anti-American, anti-capitalist dirty work freely. Perfect chemistry!
Apparently a mysterious 'Sugar Daddy' recently capitalized Goreby's Global Green Initiative to the tune of 300 million large. Who's got that kind of walkin' around seed money and a motive to shift AGW blame to greedy Western consumption? Hmmm? Perhaps his favorite campaign donors...The People's Liberation Army who run Red China?
The US Senate is the most powerful, prestigious, exclusive multi-millionaire's country club on the planet. It is our de facto 'House of Lords'. Doors open wide when a Senator shows up. It costs a lot to flip one to the 'Dark Side'...but they can be reached (or blackmailed). This calls to mind the old cynical variation on 'The Golden Rule'...'them that gots the gold, makes the rules'.

Ranger Joe,
Your eloquent prose warning us of the twin dangers in our mist was enjoyable reading. I applaud you.
I have been an admirer of Lord Moncton for a long time and have used his calling out Gore for ducking any type of public forum to debate his AGW position when I have been engaged in a friendly discussion with an AGW believer. I have yet to hear a plausible argument to support Gore's cowardly debating position. If the Goracle was so certain of his position, he would be jumping at a chance to defeat the DENIERS in a debate anywhere in the world.
Like Rush has pointed out on numerous occasions, if you want to find the answer, just follow the money.
Hey Al!, who is your Sugar Daddy? You nincompoop.

Looks like the People of the United States of America are on to Al Gore's lies and hypocrisy.
Gore is the biggest liar in the World, and Radio Talk Show Host/Constitutional Lawyer Mark Levin is right, all the politicians that are going along with Gores lies are Cowards!
God Bless America and the Wisdom of Her People. May they continue to see through all the lies and corruption that is set before them.
