May 29, 2008 Obama's Ties To ACORN More Substantial than first believedYou've heard of Moveon.org and Code Pink - two radical leftist groups seeking to elect out and out socialists to public office and who are fierce opponents of the capitalist sysetm.
But have you heard of ACORN? The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now is mostly a city-based group that you may know from their illegal voter registration efforts in several states during the 2004 election. But this group also is involved in schemes to impose drastic, left wing dogma on the rest of us through political action. Obama's connection to this group has been shadowy - some work he did back in 1995 representing an effort by the group to get the courts to force Illinois to adopt the motor voter law. But Stanley Kurtz has uncovered even more ties that Obama has to this radical group: The extent of Obama's ties to Acorn has not been recognized. We find some important details in an article in the journal Social Policy entitled, "Case Study: Chicago - The Barack Obama Campaign," by Toni Foulkes, a Chicago Acorn leader and a member of Acorn's National Association Board. The odd thing about this article is that Foulkes is forced to protect the technically "non-partisan" status of Acorn's get-out-the-vote campaigns, even as he does everything in his power to give Acorn credit for helping its favorite son win the critical 2004 primary that secured Obama the Democratic nomination to the U.S. Senate. Not surprisingly it turns out that Reverend Jeremiah Wright and Father Michael Pfleger - two radical clergy closely associated with Obama - have extensive ties to ACORN . Their views fit nicely within the ACORN anti-capitalist agenda that they have been pushing for years. More evidence, if any were needed, that Obama's past associations have defined him as a politician and that the more radicals that turn up in his background, the more we must question just what his beliefs truly are. Few average folks have heard of ACORN. It's actions in the furtherance of vote fraud are well known and documented but of no interest, natch, to the MSMers. If Barry can provide the public service of deflating the Clintons and this Marxist rat's nest he will have served this nation ably. Even more ably if he is not elected.

Is there anyone interested in this country being united.I am all for bringing any information about candidates to light whether it be good or bad,but I would like it to be the same standard for all candidates whether you like them or not. Look at the movies "Recount" and "Blackbox" that look into voter fraud. Did any of you speak out against the candidates or parties involved? We need to stop putting each other down and be a fair and just country for all

I'm interested in being unified with liberals who become conservatives. Then I'm interested in defeating every liberal proposal from global warming taxes, to open borders, to national hellthcare. I'm interested in lower taxes, much less government, more freedom and more personal responsibility.

ACORN has been notorious out here in The People's Republic of Oregon for submitting bogus petitions to get controversial ballot measures listed.
Having learned to count votes on the South Side of Chicago, The Great Healer is a natural for a bunch of crooks like ACORN.

Hey Kirk, show me where the Republicans have committed voter fraud. However, ACORN HAS in fact been convicted of voter fraud. Just another wild accusation from the looney left. Don't you know that voter fraud is a Democratic skill? let's see, keeping the polls open past closing time in St Louis in 2004, The dead people voting in Wisconsin, the 103% voter turnout in Washington state. And why DO Democrats fight the voter ID laws so hard and fiercely? Could it be because of their shenanigans? One more thing, noone here ever mentioned Barry Hussein's race. Except you.

All you have to know about this whole sordid mess that the Democrat party has been attempting to foist onto this country for the last half century is that virtually every one of their cast of crooked players - Pelosi, Reid, the Obamas, and the Clintons, to name but a few - are LAWYERS! Shakespeare was right - if you want to clean up any society, eliminate all the lawyers and start over. By their very nature, laywers have no regard for the truth, only for what might further their own (or their client's) agenda and/or quest for power.

The MSM knows what ACORN is. They just don't care.
The MSM has shown, especially by their current shabby treatment of the same Clintons they lionized for years, that they are all about electing the most leftward leaning candidate available.
Clearly Barack Obama is that candidate, and nothing detrimental to his prospects is going to appear anywhere in the MSM. It's up to the "new media" to expose ACORN to Americans to whom it is unfamiliar, because the MSM will not be telling that story.
