Is Iran a threat or not, Senator Obama?
Thomas Lifson
Within the space of a day, the candidate has changed his position.
[If Iran] "tried to pose a serious threat to us they wouldn't . . . they wouldn't stand a chance."
"So, I've made it clear for years that the threat from Iran is grave."
John Hinderaker asks, "Can someone explain why it is, exactly, that Barack Obama is not a laughingstock?"
I can, John. Two words: media bias.

The word "idiot" does not even BEGIN to accurately describe BHO...what is there that's beyond "idiot"? Moron? Imbecile? Thick-headed fool? Wilfully ignorant?
I swear, electing Obama would be like sticking the needle in our own arms...

Since leftists are generally trying to tear down standards and their views are constantly "evolving", they feel very little distress about getting nailed down to one particular position. "That was yesterday - this is today. I'm not some rigid conservative like Dick Cheney, I'm searching and discovering..."
That's the kind of stuff they tell themselves to rid the momentary pang of cognitive dissonance.

I hope there will be a book coming out this summer or fall titled "Unfit to Lead" to imitate the success of John O'Neill's Unfit to Command.
The contents should deal directly to debunk Obama's promises. American Thinker writers can start exploring such great opportunity.
This Barack "the Fraud Almighty" Hussein Obama is really scare the hell out of me. The reason is simple: He doesn't have anything to offer to the Highest office in the land except promises and speeches which turn out all are frauds. Take for example the famous speech on "Race". If such a well-prepared and anticipated speech can be easily debunked, as many writers have done including Charles Krauthammer, what else can you expect?
The scary thing is, with the solid supports from the ever non-bias and non-partisan media, the Hollywood, the youngsters, the blacks, and possibly some misguided conservatives, as well as the confusion among Conservative base, whether to vote for Hillary (read: confused) or stay at home in the general elections, Obama has a strong chance to win the White House.
The irony is, as Richard Baehr has once indicated, the McCain nomination is perhaps a sort of blessing in disguise. Think about it. Who among the current conservatives that can generate enthusiasm closed to what Bush enjoyed in 2004? I bet none.
On the other hand, McCain can prove to the voters something that Obama is only able to make in promises: reach out to others of different political spectrum. This in itself is a strong advantage to attract independent voters who are increasingly tired of bitter partisanship.

What more can be expected from Barack Carter, I mean Obama

The first statement assumes Iran could pose a threat, but that if became a reality, we'd kick their arses forthwith. The second statement clearly states Iran is a grave threat. I think I have seen better Obama quotes than No. 1 above that implies Iran is virtually of no strategic threat to the U.S. (but I ain't a goin' a searchin' right now).

To all that are engaged, Barak Obama is nothing more than the Democrats newest version of a failed line of Presidential candidates. Even the left knows this now.

How can this bias be brought to the forefront? Does is take a SNL skit to make this bias known? Hillary has tried and failed. Evidently John McCain won't attack. In the ABC debate where George and Charlie asked legitimate questions, they turned out to be the bad guys. And now, everytime Obama, his wife or policies are criticized, he has made those arguments off limits. There are no follow up questions and he is constantly let off the hook. There has to be a way.

Obama is a little lamb dressed in sheeps clothing.

Obama is a being portrayed as a rock star, the crowds are swaying the same way they did with Frank Sinatra and The Beatles, and those crowds had their "plants" in them, so what makes anybody think this is any different?
Let's hope the voters outweigh the viewers.

[If Iran] "tried to pose a serious threat to us they wouldn't . . . they wouldn't stand a chance."
Okie, dokie. So Obama and whose army is going to do anything about it? He's planning on gutting the military so we can't ever fight again. He's gonna dump Star Wars, so we won't have any defense from incoming missiles. He's planning on dismantling our nuclear arsenal, so we have no deterrent capability. What's he gonna DO to them if we are attacked directly or by their many bought and paid for surrogates? Is his ingenious plan to line us all up at the Atlantic shore with PEA SHOOTERS? He's worse than a moron, he's positively a danger.
