The Washington Post is blaming the Wuhan virus for every problem associated with this pandemic, But they should really be blaming the politicians for their draconian policies for creating problems, policies which they support.

It is power-hungry politicians, along with their supportive fans in the media, who have escalated a major mental health crisis in the country. It's not the virus itself. They have used the virus as an excuse to control who can work and what we can do every day. They are intentionally sending us into a deep financial and mental depression. The media contributes by repeating talking points and telling people who refuse to obey their masters or protest that they want people to die. Why wouldn’t people be depressed?

Stay-at-home orders didn’t just prevent people from dining in restaurants — they led people to avoid medical services, too.

So now the WP tells the blatant lie that people chose to avoid medical services when it was politicians who branded dentists and doctors, who perform elective surgery, most of which is medically necessary, as non-essential. It was clearly the politicians’ choice to financially destroy these medical professionals, not the public, nor the virus.

Another WP article intentionally scares the public, suggesting that if politicians and the public open up businesses and go back to work and don’t follow their masters the WP likes, that  200,000 people will be getting the virus every day by the end of May and 3,000 people will die every day The WP doesn’t care that the CDC disavowed the report. They printed it anyway to scare the public into submission

The WP also doesn’t care that the previous dire forecasts, that caused the shutdown, were over 90% off which makes it clear that factual scientific data was not used to come up with the inflated numbers. I wonder why so many people are depressed and scared to go back to work.

A draft government report projects covid-19 cases will surge to about 200,000 per day by June 1, a staggering jump that would be accompanied by more than 3,000 deaths each day.

The White House and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention disavowed the report, although the slides carry the CDC’s logo. The creator of the model said the numbers are unfinished projections shown to the CDC as a work in progress.

In 2009 and 2010 the U.S was attacked by a pandemic and 60 million Americans were infected. Obama/Biden did not shut the economy down, people were not branded as essential and non-essential. Schools weren’t closed. Draconian social distance procedures weren’t forced on the public.  Somehow, most of the media must not have had time to report daily case totals to scare the public. They also didn’t have time to say that Obama/Biden were slow to respond and that they wanted people to get sick. There was no vaccine. Maybe they were focused on spreading the lies to get Obamacare passed and take away freedom of choice on health care instead.

As for COVID 19, over 1 million have tested positive, (with many already recovered). That is 1/3rd of one percent of the population and we are keeping the country in depression. Around 70,000 have died or around two hundredths of one percent of the population and we are destroying the wealth, income and livelihoods of tens of millions of Americans. We are also destroying the mental and physical health of huge numbers of people. Politicians are causing suicide, obesity, drug overdoses, child abuse etc. because they have chosen to keep the economy closed. I wonder why people are depressed.

People over 60, like me, are essentially told that if we choose to go out, we are likely to die. For the first time in our lives, after living through pandemics and seasonal flus, we have to wear a mask, stay six feet apart, not been allowed in groups of more than ten and prevented from going to a fit club to exercise and swim. We can’t even watch live sporting events that for the first time in most of our lives have been canceled. We are told we must stay away from our children and grandchildren because they may be carriers and we would be likely to die. And we are required to do this until a vaccine comes which may be never. People who don’t behave their masters are said to want others to die. I wonder why so many are depressed.

Younger adults are given most of the same restrictions as older people. They are also branded as essential and non-essential. They are told they may be carriers and if they visit their parents or grandparents, they are likely to kill them. Tens of millions are unable to earn money to feed their families and make house and other payments. If they protest to want more freedom and to go back to work, they are said to want people to die. I wonder why so many are so depressed.

Students are not allowed to go to school, not allowed to hang around with friends, not allowed to go to proms, graduations or concerts and not allowed to play sports along with many of the same restrictions of older people. They are told that millions of them are carriers and if they go see their older parents or grandparents, they may kill them. I wonder why so many are depressed.

Democrats say their draconian policies are strictly based on science. Shouldn’t some journalist ask to see the scientific data to see how many students have spread the virus to old people and kill them. I bet there are few if any they can find.

In Illinois, our governor is making children as young as two wear masks to prevent the spread. So far, I haven’t heard any journalist ask him what scientific data supports that policy.

Every day, Governor Pritzger says, without challenge and without evidence, that the only reason Illinois has a lower death toll, lower case load, lower hospital bed use and lower ventilator use than projected is because of his tyrannical policies that are destroying the economy and our freedom.

Isn’t the fact that states that did not do the tyrannical policies had as good or better results than states that did proof that the virus peters out just like normal viruses do instead of intentionally destroying the economy to get rid of it? Why don’t journalists point that out?

The other day, Governor Pritzger, who tells us to stay home and cut out non-essential travel, called it reprehensible that a reporter would ask why his wife flew to their estate in Florida. Power hungry Democrats are so special.

It is politicians and bureaucrats that have decided to destroy the energy, and health care industry along with thousands of others. I have never been prevented from getting a haircut, going to the dentist, playing in a park or having elective surgery before. It is politicians that are destroying the economy and taking away our freedom, not the virus. And it is most journalists who support the politicians actively sending the U.S. into economic oblivion and chastising anyone who wants to open it up.
