Orwellian, and Evil: Gretchen Whitmer calls abortion 'life-sustaining' health care

War is peace. Freedom is slavery. And Michigan's petty tyrant governor, Gretchen Whitmer, is starting to sound Orwellian.

After banning sales of garden seeds as 'inessential,' she's now declared abortion of all things, the killing of a live, human baby, by "choice" a matter of 'life-sustaining' health care. According to Fox News:

We stopped elective surgeries here in Michigan, and some people have tried to say that that type of a procedure is considered the same, and that’s ridiculous,” Whitmer, a Democrat, told former Barack Obama political strategist David Alexrod on his podcast when he asked about other states that have sought bans amid the outbreak.

“A woman’s health care, her whole future, her ability to decide if and when she starts a family is not an election, it is a fundamental to her life," she added. “It is life-sustaining, and it’s something that government should not be getting in the middle of.”

Not merely 'essential' like food or water, or among her diktats, lottery tickets.

Life-sustaining. She makes that claim to please her Democratic Party masters and undoubtedly to advance her career among them, just as 'medical waste' bags full of mercilessly slaughtered but once-living babies goes stright into some Michigan dumpster or charnel house.

Life-saving for whom?

Abortion is all about ending a life. In a lot of cases, abortion is not even life-preserving, for say, a distressed woman who wants one, let alone life-saving. Plenty of Michigan women have died in legal abortions. They wouldn't have died had there been no baby killed in 'the procedure' as it's euphemistically known.

Under what circumstances could any abortion, which involves killing, chopping up, slicing into pieces, and selling for spare parts, a live human baby, be called 'life-sustaining'?  There's nothing life-sustaining about the destruction of a healthy innocent human life. Doctors know this, there's a reason no normal doctor wants to be involved in them. Abortions are expressly forbidden under the Hippocratic Oath.

Only a Democrat with an agenda, and higher ambitions of advancing in her party of abortion might find such dishonest language easy. The rest use euphemisms or else avoid the topic.

Such language is completely Orwellian, and certainly is consistent with Whitmer's other bizarre, at-odds-with-reality declarations.

She's the one, recall, who banned hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for COVID-19 infections, a promising treatment mentioned by President Trump, until she was forced to reverse.

She's the one who, as Tucker Carlson notes here:

...banned sales of carpets, boats, gardening equipment and seeds and other necessities as 'non-essential'

She's since gotten herself a mass protest in Detroit for her string of petty tyrannies, strange and inconsistent, kind of like Woody Allen's dictator movie ("Bananas") about wearing one's underwear outside one's pants so the state can check, which was noted by Andrea Widburg in her comprehensive list of bannings, here.

But it's not comical. It's actually evil. You can almost see it in her face, the extent to which her ambition for power has made her even appear evil. This is a small tyrant with ambitions of being a big one, a mouse with dreams of becoming a rat.
