I am actually sympathetic to Joe Biden in this instance. Whenever I start to hear Hillary Clinton's grating voice, I desperately want to be somewhere else. But when he was on camera with Hillary Clinton finally endorsing him, sharing a screen, getting up and running away, perhaps diving naked into his swimming pool if any female Secret Service agents were present, was not an option for Joe. Instead, a retreat into the land of nod was the best option.
