Rep. Corrine Brown, the Democratic congresswoman indicted on 24 counts of fraud for using a college scholarship fund as her personal piggybank, said straight out that if the FBI had been keeping an eye on Omar Mateen, the Orlando night club shooter, instead of investigating her, the victims of that terrorist attack would be alive today. The Hill: “These are the same agents that was not able to do a thorough investigation of [shooter Omar Mateen], and we ended up with 50 people dead,” Brown said.
