Poland's populist conservative party back in power after nearly a decade

Poland's conservative Law and Justice Party scored a big victory in parliamentary elections on Sunday, defeating the pro-business Civic Platform who governed the country for 8 years. The leader of Law and Justice, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, found vindication in the results as the former prime minister, who lost his brother, the Polish president, in a plane crash in 2010, but failed in his own bid for the presidency in 2012.
