Muslim boy arrested after teacher mistakes his homemade clock for a bomb

A 14-year old Texas high school freshman has been arrested after he brought a homemade clock to school that a teacher mistook for a bomb. This isn't another one of those wild overreactions by school administrators to stuff like a pop tart fashioned into a gun or some student wearing a T-shirt someone objects to. In fact, the young man may have tried to make a statement about Muslims being discriminated against. Fox News: The Dallas Morning News reported late Tuesday that Ahmed Mohamed, 14, has been suspended from MacArthur High School in Irving and police say they may charge the teen with making a hoax bomb.  Mohamed told the News that he built the clock in about 20 minutes Sunday evening using a pencil case, a circuit board, and a power supply wired to a digital display.
