Colorado Dem says women don't need guns to protect themselves from rape

If that was all he said, he might be dismissed as just another idiot gun control advocate. But once state Rep. Joe Salazar placed his foot firmly in his mouth, he proceeded to put a little salt and pepper on it and swallow it whole: "It's why we have call boxes, it's why we have safe zones, it's why we have the whistles. Because you just don't know who you're gonna be shooting at. And you don't know if you feel like you're gonna be raped, or if you feel like someone's been following you around or if you feel like you're in trouble when you may actually not be, that you pop out that gun and you pop ... pop around at somebody." The number one question I have is: Do liberals really believe that rapists respect a "safe zone?" I'd love to get this guy alone and try to sell him a safe zone in the Okefenokee swamp.
