American Sniper Critics vs. Manliness

I had the honor of meeting and interviewing Mark Geist, who was a member of the Annex Security Team that fought the battle of Benghazi. Islamic militants attacked our U.S. consulate in Benghazi on 9/11 2012. Realizing that they needed to act immediately if they were to save the lives of those trapped in our consulate, Mark Geist and his team disobeyed orders to “stand down” from the Obama Administration. Sadly, Mark and his team were too late to save the lives of U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.

Still, it stuck with me that Mark and his team disobeyed direct orders for the sake of saving American lives. I told Mark during our interview that I found his behavior very manly, John Wayne and American. In our seemingly increasingly metro-sexual America, it is refreshing to know that we still have real men with the cojones to say, screw orders, we're gonna save our people.

I love this quote: “We sleep safe in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm.” George Orwell

This is the reason I so admire and respect the late Chris Kyle, whose story is told in the blockbuster movie, “American Sniper.” Chris Kyle was a rough man who fought to keep us safe.

It is not surprising that the Left is hysterically outraged with their panties in a knot over the success of American Sniper. These creeps are driven by their blame-America-first anti-testosterone sissified politically correct mindsets.

Securely embedded as professors in our institutions of higher learning are feminized men who believe any aggression or show of power is always evil. They are responsible for producing the likes of Barack Obama. Thus, Obama selected old anti-America peacenik John Kerry as his Secretary of State.

Obama and Kerry's foreign policy amounts to trying to convince tyrants, dictators and terrorists of the world to join them holding hands and singing, “All we are saying is give peace a chance.” Obama and Kerry refuse to admit that Islamic extremist are at war with us, seeking global jihad. Obama's top priority is not to offend the Taliban by calling them terrorists rather than protecting the American people. Why does this Administration continuously muzzle our honorable rough men who are willing to keep us safe?

Speaking of rough men who keep us safe, years ago I caught the late actor and WWII vet Charles Durning on TV sharing his story at the National Memorial Day concert. Durning was awarded Silver and Bronze star medals for valor and three Purple Hearts. He landed at Normandy. Still moved after all these years, Durning humbly stood at the podium and wept for his fallen brothers.

Mark Geist and his team, Chris Kyle, Charles Durning and all the rough men and women of our military make it possible for wimps like Michael Moore, Seth Rogen, Howard Dean, Senator Dick Durbin, John Kerry and all others who trash our military to enjoy freedom, extraordinary success and spout their crap in English. These men, emasculated by liberalism, are free to pontificate about the evils of war because other real men fought, some making the ultimate sacrifice on their behalf.

Shortly after the horrific 9/11 terrorist attack murdering 3000 Americans on U.S. soil, a liberal guitarist in my band said America should give peace a chance rather than retaliating with war. My band member displayed the same I'm-a-better-person-for-choosing-peace-over-war snooty superiority we see in liberals today.

Let us not forget that on September 11, 2001, 3000 Americans died simply showing up to work, many finding themselves in the unimaginably horrific situation of having to decide whether to jump to their deaths or be consumed in an inferno.

I restrained myself from saying to my guitarist, You idiot! You can't just stick your head in the sand and pretend nothing happened. Very bad people are relentlessly coming after you with one purpose in mind; to murder you and your family and to destroy America. So, what do you do Mr Give Peace a Chance when evil people kick in your front door bringing war to you?

Liberals' disdain for innocent people defending themselves (America and Israel) is idiotic, sissified and rooted in a feminized culture of political correctness. Despite the whiny temper tantrums from these wusses, Michael Moore, Howard Dean and the rest, most Americans get it; celebrating our manly hero, Chris Kyle. “American Sniper” is breaking records at the box office. Excellent! In your face! Okay, perhaps that was a bit childish of me.

Thank God for the likes of Mark Geist and his team, Chris Kyle, Charles Durning and our military, rough men who stood and those who stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm.

May God bless them and may God bless the United States of America.
