Police Assist Muslims Attacking Christian Mourners in Egypt

At least one person died and more than 80 were injured in this incident. Alicia Ludwig, editor of the Mideast Christian Views News Agency, first obtained this video and appeared on America Live today. She said the Interior Ministry in Egypt tried to blame Coptic protesters for attacking Central Security Forces.

The footage tells a different story. It shows attackers throwing Molotov cocktails and tear gas at the crowd that was there attending a funeral.

Ludwig said the violence against Christians has increased since Egypt's 2011 revolution and the election of a Muslim Brotherhood president.

New video out of Egypt shows Christians being attacked at the country's biggest church. The footage appears to show police officers standing by as several attackers launch a deadly assault on worshipers. In different video of the same incident, a police officer appears to be helping a man who prepares to attack a courtyard full of mourners.
