Former Moslem Army chaplain, Captain James J. Yee, formerly stationed at Guantanamo has recently joined the ranks of Obama delegates. If the name seems familiar that is because

The West Point graduate was accused in 2003 of being part of a spy ring at the U.S. prison for suspected terrorists in Guantanamo Bay.

After spending 76 days in solitary confinement, he was exonerated, resigned from the Army and received an honorable discharge.

Ah but Charles Johnson over at Little Green Footballs clarifies and corrects the bland background of the seemingly victimized Yee.

Yee was certainly not exonerated or cleared; the charges were dropped, according to Maj. Gen. Geoffrey D. Miller, commander of Joint Task Force Guantanamo, because there were "national security concerns that would arise from the release of the evidence" if the case proceeded.

Yes, he does sound like the perfect Obama delegate.
