Israel's foreign minister says its ruling party must prepare to replace Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in light of a corruption investigation.
Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni is a top rival of Olmert and the first senior member of the Kadima Party to call for his ouster. She says Kadima needs to act for "every eventuality, including elections.
She says the party cannot ignore recent events and must act to restore the public's faith. On Wednesday, Defense Minister Ehud Barak threatened to pull his Labor Party out of the governing coalition if the prime minister doesn't step down.
