Was an attack last week in the state of Washington inspired by ISIS?

Last week, Omer Ismail Ali, a “refugee” from Sudan who entered the United States in 2013, attacked a gas station clerk, a customer, and a police officer in Kelso, Washington.  During the apparent robbery attempt, he used a wooden walking stick as a weapon, slamming one highly restrained police officer in the head and knocking him to the ground before the officer was able to fire a fatal shot.

After reading about this, I couldn’t help but wonder if Ali was influenced by the recent call from ISIS to use baseball bats to attack infidels (here and here).  Or perhaps it’s just a coincidence.  Either way, one must ask why we’re importing Muslims from war-torn backward countries ruled by sharia law into the United States – countries where legal punishments include stoning, flogging, crucifixion, and hanging.

And speaking of our breathless quest to bring such folks over here, it seems our once great nation will reach a landmark this week when the number of Syrian “refugees” to be admitted hits 10,000 as part of Obama’s goal for 2016.  Apparently most from this group have been “resettled” (a gentle term that masks the fact that we’re being colonized) in California and Virginia.  I hope they’re clustered around the homes of Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, and Tim Kaine.
