Hillary Clinton and the left are bad medicine

Without a proper diagnosis, there can be no proper treatment. That’s a guiding principle in medicine, and rightfully so, or else we’d all be dropping like flies.

The need to diagnose applies to many fields and problems – perhaps none so critical as when confronting jihad. The question is very basic: Why is this happening? One then needs a skilled and honest investigator to determine the answer. In this case, the investigation should be quick. Answer = the teachings of the Quran.

But the left prefers to avoid the question. And when they do ask it, they misdiagnose every time, finding all manner of excuses and irrelevant distractions as to why jihadists are victims. If leftists were physicians, patients would be running away as fast as possible in fear for their lives. And, indeed, this is the state we find ourselves as we face malpractice on a massive scale among the ruling class.

Imagine going to the doctor because you feel unusually tired and, with no further query, he recommends you get more sleep. Your symptoms continue despite increased sleep, but he makes the same recommendation with no attempt to rule out alcohol abuse, anemia, anxiety, depression, diabetes, medications, sleep apnea, cancer, kidney disease, obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema, heart disease, or thyroid dysfunction, among other potential causes of persistent fatigue. Over time, the doctor’s approach proves fatal because he made no attempt to discern the underlying cause of your symptoms. A tired patient with cancer would have no chance of becoming well under this doctor’s care. Nor would a person who was misdiagnosed and treated for diabetes when, in fact, she was anemic.

Accurate diagnosis = effective treatment plan.

But the left is not interested in the teachings of the Quran (diagnosis) and therefore it is impossible for an appropriate treatment plan to be developed (protect and defend ourselves in any and all ways). This puts every American at needless risk. Many have already paid the price with their lives. And many more will. Perhaps it will be you. Perhaps it will be me.

But the left does not care about us. (A heck of a lot of folks on the right don’t either.)

A succinct example of the left’s misguided approach to the threat of Islamic supremacism could be found in Hillary Clinton’s tweet after the terror attack in San Bernadino: “No matter what motivation these shooters had, we can say one thing for certain – they shouldn’t have been able to do this.”

She was, of course, referring to the jihadist’s ability to purchase guns, in what appeared to be her latest variation of “what difference at this point does it make?”

In 140 characters or less, Clinton spewed the party line, relegating motive to the back burner while making gun control a priority. The desire to focus on the tool used instead of the underlying reason for the violence was as irresponsible as a doctor treating a symptom instead of searching for the root cause of illness or disease.

The Quran mandates jihad. And jihad uses whatever means necessary and available to slaughter, maim, and destroy all that is good in the world. If legally purchased guns are used, so be it. Illegal guns would also work. And if not that, then bombs. And if not that, knives. And if not that, cars ramming into people. And on and on.

And so Clinton and her comrades on the left have ensured we will not get well – that our lives will not be protected. Because they refuse to identify the motive behind jihad: the teachings of the Quran.

The sooner the diagnosis is made, the sooner we can develop the appropriate treatment plan to save ourselves from the scourge that has been sweeping the globe for 1400 years and counting.
