UC Merced stabber planned to behead people while praising Allah

Faisal Mohammed stabbed four people on the campus of University of California at Merced last week.  As in other cases of Islamic terror attacks against Americans, the rush to absolve the jihadist of any connection to Islam was swift.  Never has law enforcement so consistently and so quickly determined motive, or lack thereof, as when terror strikes Americans.  And so it was the case with Faisal’s attack.

Fox News reports new details that confirm that this kid was a jihadist, not a crazy teenager with a grudge:

A handwritten manifesto carried by a California college student whose stabbing spree Wednesday left four wounded bore names of his targets, a vow “to cut someone’s head off” and as many as five reminders to “praise Allah,” law enforcement authorities told FoxNews.com, while insisting that neither terrorism nor religion appear to be motives in the attack.

In the two-page document found in Faisal Mohammad’s pocket by the county coroner, the 18-year-old freshman wrote a numeric list outlining his plans of who he wanted to kill, and how, including beheading and shooting his victims, Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke told FoxNews.com

“No. 27 was to ‘make sure people are tied down,’ No. 28 was “sit down and praise Allah,'” Warnke said. “I remember seeing four or five times, scribbled on the side of the two-page manifesto, where he wrote something like ‘praise Allah.’”

Despite this, Sherriff Warnke continues to assert: “There was nothing on his computer or in his dorm room or in the manifesto to suggest any ties to terrorism or terrorists groups.”

Oh, good grief!

·      A Muslim who plans to behead people (while praising Allah, no less) is a jihadist.

·      Anyone committing an act of jihad is tied to terrorism. Jihad is terror.

·      A jihadist doesn’t have to have official ties with any terror groups. That’s why terror organizations encourage “lone wolf” attacks.

There really is no such thing as a “lone wolf” attack, because all devout Muslims who take up arms against non-believers are connected by a common ideology. It’s called Islam.

Terror attacks against Americans are sickening enough.  But to see law enforcement (and others) scramble to assure everyone they are not terror attacks makes a reprehensible situation even worse. The willful ignorance and/or cowardice on display after jihad attacks is revolting.

Here are some quick tips for law enforcement about jihadists/Islamic terrorists:

·      They plot to kill non-believers.

·      They kill non-believers.

·      They have a soft spot for beheadings, but bombings, knifings, shootings, running people over with cars, and just about any form of violence will do.

·      They attack non-believers in the name of Allah.

This stupidity must end.

(Note: There is an additional report that suggests this was an ISIS attack, but because the source is anonymous I did not integrate it into this blog.  For those who would like to read about it, see here.)
