Hollande surrenders to wave of Muslim migrants

What a difference a few days make.  On the heels of the most recent jihad terror attacks, French president François Hollande declared: “France is at war!”  That was on Monday.  Now it’s Thursday.  And Holland announced that France will continue to accept “refugees.”

ABC News reports:

French President Francois Hollande today promised that “France will remain a country of freedom,” defending his decision to honor a commitment to accept migrants and refugees despite Friday’s deadly terrorist attacks in Paris.

“Life should resume fully,” Hollande told a gathering of the country’s mayors, who gave him a standing ovation. “What would France be without its museums, without its terraces, its concerts, its sports competitions?

“France should remain as it is. Our duty is to carry on our lives.”

In the same spirit, he added, “30,000 refugees will be welcomed over the next two years. Our country has the duty to respect this commitment,” explaining that they will undergo vigorous security checks.

Hollande noted that “some people say the tragic events of the last few days have sown doubts in their minds,” but called it a “humanitarian duty” to help those people … but one that will go hand in hand with “our duty to protect our people.”

“France will remain a country of freedom.”  If Hollande wants France to remain a country of freedom, I would recommend he rethink his commitment to import more Muslims.

His desire to honor a commitment to “migrants and refugees” is meant to sound noble and compassionate.  But it’s dangerous and stupid.  Apparently, his sense of honor to Muslims far exceeds his desire to honor his commitment to the people of France.

“Life should resume fully.”  Yes, indeed it should.  And it could if Mr. Hollande (and other Western leaders who proudly wear their shiny new dhimmitude badges) would get a grip on reality.  Unfortunately, he is ensuring that life will absolutely not resume fully.  Life for French men and women will continue to be snuffed out by people who follow the teachings of the Quran (devout Muslims, not “extremists”) who reside outside his country and inside his country, the latter group being one he is eager to embrace in increasing numbers. Because “freedom” and “honor.”

Uh-huh.

Hollande then waxes poetic about France’s cultural and sports institutions, apparently still quizzically unaware that these institutions will cease to exist if he continues down the path he has chosen for his country.  Because everything he referenced (and more) will go the way of ancient treasures in the Middle East that ISIS has plundered, destroyed, and sold for fast cash.

Then kicking into an all-out free fall toward madness, Hollande pronounces that “France should remain as it is.”  Making such a statement in the face of Islamic supremacism should count for diagnosable insanity.  Yes, France should remain as it is.  Or as it was.  But the wholesale import of Muslims will ensure that it does not remain so.  At this rate, eventually (and it won’t take too long), there will be no more France.  It will be part of the caliphate.

But like the rest of Western leaders, Hollande he doesn’t get it.  Or doesn’t want to get it.

And so Mr. Hollande prioritizes the need to accept more faux refugees while national security is a mere afterthought, as if by throwing in a few words about it, everything will be okay.

Consider this a snapshot of France at war.
