Liberal media struggles to find name for dismemberment abortions

Governor Sam Brownback of Kansas signed a law banning dismemberment abortions.  The problem?  The liberal media can't figure out a way to report it.  The Associated Press writes: "Kansas governor signs nation's 1st ban on abortion procedure."  Procedure?  What kind of procedure?  Why so vague?

Meanwhile, the Huffington Post, always the master propagandists, wrote, "Kansas Becomes First State To Ban Common Form Of Abortion."  Why is the only feature they were able to use to describe it "common"?  Well, I think they want us to think "we don't know what kind of abortion it is, but if it's common, how bad can it be?"

But still, they can't really talk about what it is, because it's so grisly, to break a baby up into pieces, that they know to describe it would be to lose readers' sympathy.

The law, which was drafted by the National Right to Life Committee, is set to take effect July 1. It would effectively outlaw the dilation and evacuation procedure that is used for most second-trimester abortions and about 9 percent of all abortions performed in Kansas.

So they also call it "dilation and evacuation."  The problem with this description is that it is so vague that it describes many kinds of abortion.  It's like describing a dental procedure as the "mouth dilation procedure."

The legislation, which redefines the dilation and evacuation procedure as "dismemberment abortion" ...

You see?  "Dilation and evacuation" have nothing to do with dismemberment – it's just a redefinition by those evil pro-lifers!  The media want you to think that this kind of abortion has nothing to do with dismemberment.  The fetus is actually given flowers and chocolates.

... is part of a campaign by anti-abortion advocates to influence public opinion by using graphic language.

By "graphic language" I think they mean "specific language."  Wheras the liberal media prefer the vaguest language possible, like "evacuation."  Whoever in his right mind would call an abortion an "evacuation"?

Abortion rights proponents, on the other hand, say the procedure is often the safest and most compassionate way to terminate a pregnancy in the second trimester.

Dismemberment is surely the most compassionate thing you can do to a baby, according to leading abortionists.

But the problem still remains to find compassionate ways to describe abortion.  Here are a few more:

1) Exercising reproductive choice

2) Sudden feminine weight reduction

3) Voluntary pregnancy hiatus

4) Voluntary miscarriage

5) Elective termination of pregnancy

6) Removing a maternal growth

7) Evicting a squatter

8) Environmentally sound population reduction

Let me know in the comments section if you can think of any more liberal euphamisms for this inhumane procedure.
