Hillary cover worst-selling issue of the year for People Magazine

Run, Hillary, run!  Outside the precincts of the Upper West Side and Washington’s tonier neighborhoods, Hillary Clinton is just not very popular.

Not only did her book Hard Choices fail to sell, but her visage on the cover of People drove away newsstand buyers.  AdWeek reports (hat tip: National Review) that “People's worst-selling cover [of the year] was Hillary Clinton.”

Best
Aug. 25
1,169,800 copies
Williams’ death shocked readers and moved magazines.

Worst
June 16
503,890 copies
Clinton was a newsstand flop.

It looks to me like a lot of work went into that cover picture, too.
