WH chief of staff: 'Washington Will Work Better If Obama Has His Way'

Does this remind anybody else of the Godfather’s making people an offer they can’t refuse?  This man just got what Democrat Senator Joe Manchin called an "ass-whuppin’."  And now his majordomo alludes to unpleasantness if he doesn’t get his way. The Washington Free Beacon reports:

White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough said that under a Republican-led Congress, Washington will “work better,” as long as President Obama has his way.

“Is there one thing you can say to American voters they’re going to see that’s different, given the message they sent on Tuesday?” MSNBC’s Chris Jansing asked McDonough.

“They’re going to see Washington working better if this president has his way,” McDonough said. “And that’s what he’s going to do.”
