Did Jay-Z and Beyonce break the law by traveling to Cuba?
It isn't very newsworthy that a couple of Hollywood types traveled to Cuba to take in the sun and fun of the Castro boys' socialst workers' paradise. What might be news is that they acted for all the world like tourists. The couple announced their travel plans as a celebration of their 5th wedding anniversary. The problem is, there is a law against traveling to Cuba as a tourist. Lefties have gotten around it by being sheperded around by Cuban officials, viewing schools, hospitals, factories, and other wonders of socialism. Two GOP members of Congress are wondering about the trip as well, In a letter sent to the director of the United States' Office of Foreign Assets Control, the pair wondered if the celebrity couple hadn't violated the law.
