Redistribution: Obama's Religion?
If there was ever any doubt in anyone's mind that Barack Obama was a socialist at heart, then listen to his own words in an interview with Marc Strassman at Loyola University in 1995, where he speaks specifically of the "collective" and "democracy with a small d" and how "It's not popular to say that and believe in a common good today." Interestingly, regarding his collectivism ideology, Obama says, "That's the core of my faith." And there is not a smidgen of difference between what Barack Obama said in that interview with Strassman in 1995 and his remarks at Loyola University in 1998, where he said that he "believe[s] in redistribution," or in 2007, when he told Joe the Plumber that he thinks that "when you spread the wealth around it's good for everybody." It just doesn't get any clearer than that.
