Obama goes soft

William L. Gensert
That's not fair to our President, the greatest man to have ever lived -- he's always been soft.  Look...it's not like the Muslim Brotherhood and the Islamists in Libya are made up of dangerous ideologues prone to violence and intolerance.  Imagine, someone saying radical Islam is intolerant?

And shadowy, quasi-governmental forces have never been known to storm our embassies in the past. ...Oh wait, didn't the Iranians do something similar a few years ago?  It was back when what's his name was President, the peanut guy.

And didn't the Libyans recently shoot a grenade at the British Ambassador, while the Iranian "students" trashed the British Embassy a few months ago. In any case, this type of thing was totally unexpected.

Well anyway, the President is busy -- he's running for reelection, you know. He doesn't have time to worry about the safety of ambassadors and embassy staff.  Bigger fish to fry, in service of a noble cause, continuing his success of the last 3 ½ years -- when you're the greatest leader ever, sometimes pawns have to be sacrificed for the greater good, the Barack Obama good. And besides, didn't the President, born in a manger in Bethlehem, rappel from a Black Hawk Helicopter onto a roof in Abbottabad and strangle Osama bin Laden with his bare hands?

And I would remind all the haters, that bin Laden is still dead, remember that.   Unfortunately, so is J. Christopher Stevens, our Ambassador to Libya and 3 of his staff -- rest in peace.  A nation's prayers go out to them and their families.

Well...at least the tragedy didn't delay Obama's trip to Vegas for that campaign event he had scheduled.  A President has to have his priorities. The saddest part of both attacks is they happened and will continue to happen, because the only people who fear Barack Obama are Americans.
