Ryan: 'We won't duck the tough issues...we will lead'
A good first speech from Paul Ryan, although public speaking is not one of his fortes. Romney didn't choose him for his crowd pleasing abilities, however. By choosing Ryan, Mr. Romney sends a clear signal to the Democrats and Obama; this election is about a vision for the future of America -- our future or yours. And we think the people will embrace our ideas and not yours. Here are some excerpts from Ryan's first speech: I am committed, in heart and mind, to putting that experience to work in a Romney Administration. This is a crucial moment in the life of our nation; and it is absolutely vital that we select the right man to lead America back to prosperity and greatness.
