Obama 'Not the President of Black America'
Are the 95% of blacks who voted for Obama in 2008 suddenly persona non grata? In a recent interview with Black Enterprise magazine the President was asked about his poor record of helping black business over the past four years. The same guy who sang an Al Green song in Harlem, who demeaned the Cambridge Police Department in defense of his black professor friend and who wanted to be Trayvon Martin's father told the interviewer he is not the president of black America. Q: How do you respond to criticism that your administration hasn't done enough to support black businesses? A: My general view has been consistent throughout, which is that I want all businesses to succeed. I want all Americans to have opportunity. A: I'm not the president of black America.
