Hugo Chavez has got some Putin-type problems as his reelection approaches. and yesterday evening angry workers charged the stage during his nationally televised address and protested. This is the sort of thing that until now has only happened in Putin's Russia, where the disenfranchised voters lash out in many ways. So much for Chavez being the president who sticks up for the little guy, the Marxist champion of the proletariat and the shantytown dwellers. Today, they're coming after him - with pitchforks before the cameras. Venezuelan blogger Miguel Octavio thinks this could be a turning point in Chavez's fate.
