Wikileaks starts publishing 2 million Syria emails

It's going to be a slow process going through the nearly 2 million emails Wikileaks hacked from the Syrian government. That's because most of them are in Arabic while the rest appear to be in Russian. But if they can't find a few smoking guns that would convict a lot of higher echelon Syrians for war crimes, I'd be very surprised. AFP: WikiLeaks said Thursday it was publishing over two million emails from Syrian political figures dating back to 2006 but also covering the period of the crackdown on dissent by Syria's regime. WikiLeaks began publishing the Syria files, more than two million emails from Syrian political figures, ministries and associated companies dating from August 2006 to March 2012," said Sarah Harrison, spokeswoman for the anti-secrecy website.
