The 'highest duty' of government?
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is one strange dude. He clearly has issues with food -- not the food that he puts in his own body, but the food chosen by other people for consumption. Mayor Mike evidently is tormented by the thought that other people might eat food which he regards as unhealthy. How else to explain this utterly bizarre statement: (via Eric Sheiner of CNS News) During a United Nations General Assembly summit on non-communicable diseases -- a discussion that included diet and eating habits -- New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said "governments at all levels must make healthy solutions the default social option."
