Just another day of race baiting for Sheila Jackson Lee

"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt." - Abe Lincoln

We can always rely on Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) to inject her own brand of far-left factually devoid race-baiting insanity into any situation.  Even as the Whoopi Goldberg of the Congress was refusing to comment on the recent discrimination law suit brought against her this week by a former staffer, she was reinventing the race-baiting wheel to attack those legitimate members of congress who are fighting to save our nation.  Yesterday Jackson Lee reduced the debate over raising the debt limit to a racist attack against Mr. Obama during her rant on the House floor.

I am particularly sensitive to the fact that only this president, only this president, only this one has received the kind attacks and disagreements and inability to work. Only this one," Jackson Lee said on the House floor this afternoon.

"Read between the lines."

"What is different about this president that should put him in a position that he should not receive the same kind of respectful treatment of when it is necessary to raise the debt limit in order to pay our bills, something required by both statute and the 14th amendment?"

Sheila do you really want to know what makes this president different?  Perhaps it is his total lack of leadership or competence in the face of a serious financial crisis.  Perhaps it is his daily shredding of our Constitution.  Perhaps it is his single-minded quest to remake America in his own twisted Marxist image.  Perhaps it is his condescending and insulting abuse of the decent hard-working taxpayers who must bear the burden of his failed economic policies.  Perhaps it is Mr. Obama's unprecedented and historic expansion of governmental control and runaway spending that irks us.   There is no need to read between the lines, the truth is painfully obvious.

Sheila, Sheila, Sheila, why can't we find a way to live together like North and South Vietnam?  America is such a great country, after all if we could put a man on Mars we should be able to find a way to keep spending trillions of dollars that we don't have without any consequences for ourselves or future generations.  Not to change the subject, but when was the last time the Democrats passed a budget?

Sheila, would it be too much to ask Mr. Obama to uphold his oath of office do his Job?  Sorry, that should be job with a small 'j,' it wouldn't be nice to confuse Comrade Pelosi.

Speaking of jobs, things are pretty tough out there, have you noticed that in this terrible economy people who are lucky enough to have jobs are staying longer and working harder?  Oh, wait, that's not a fair question to ask someone who have gone through 11 chiefs of staff in 11 years.  With the average tenure of a congressional chief of staff being 6.7 years, there would seem to be something terribly wrong in your office Sheila.

Sheila, maybe economic matters aren't your forte.  Why not work on something meaningful like producing a list of black sounding names for hurricanes?  How about using your own name?  Hurricane Sheila!  Wait, that sounds really, really while, Irish in fact, besides 'S' is way down the alphabet and may not be used in a typical season.  Hey, Hurricane Barack!  That's a sure fire winner, unless it gets downgraded into an economic depression, ooops I mean a tropical depression which would undoubtedly be the result of racism.
