Client #9 joins ranks of the unemployed again

What is next for Elliot Spitzer?  The disgraced former Democrat Governor's miniscule audience for "In The Arena" on CNN landed the liberal commentator on the unemployment line.  Politicians like Spitzer are so ill-prepared for the private sector that the concept of losing one's job based on performance and cold hard numbers is as foreign a concept as constitutional limits on governmental power.   The New York Post reports:   With a paltry 595,000 viewers a night since January, Spitzer was crushed in his 8 p.m. timeslot by Fox News Channel's "The O'Reilly Factor," which regularly snags nearly 3 million viewers.   [...]   Even long struggling MSNBC was nearly doubling Spitzer's lowly audience numbers with left-wing loudmouth, Lawrence O'Donnell.   In a statement Spitzer said "We provided diverse and valuable perspectives during the show's tenure.  I thoroughly enjoyed my time at CNN."  Diverse and valuable perspectives?  Shilling for the left and accusing the GOP of trying to "balance the budget on the backs of the poor," doesn't seem very diverse....
