Romney's Scarlet Letter

Remember when ABC News was asking its viewers to send in anecdotal evidence of global warming? AGW supposedly all around us and right before our own denying eyes.  I wonder if a snowmelt-submerged Sacramento would be acceptable anecdotal evidence to ABC News?

At the risk of being tattooed as a "denier," global warming is the perhaps the best documented hoax since Piltdown Man.  Every day we witness the meltdown of this gory fraud.   To prove that God has a hilarious sense of humor and timing, when Kerry-Lieberman's Cap&Tax scheme was being ballyhooed, God made sure it snowed in all 50 states. And if anyone missed God's sparkling sense of humor last time, this year the capital city of this rotting green fraud, Sacramento, faces its worst flooding perhaps in recorded history.  And this record flooding is wrought by record snowmelt from record snowfall, not the fabled "glacier melt" fairy tales as predicted by doom-saying rent-seeking AGW proponents.  If one were closely following the "news", everywhere we look in North America we see biblical flooding seemingly out of nowhere.  "Could this be caused by global warming," some ponder?  Do we really need a committee to study the issue that record snowfall melts into record flooding?

I am fairly certain Mitt Romney is an avid snow skier.  He may have noticed that many of his favorite western ski resorts were closed this winter and not from lack of snow.  If Romney believes that man-made global warming caused this, he would be wrong.  The ski resorts were closed because record high snow fall buried the ski lift towers.  Famous mountain passes were impassable due to historically deep snowfall.  Many of these same ski resorts plan to re-open in July this year, perhaps after enough snow melts and roads are re-opened.

That our government mandates the burning of corn to lower the sea level is pure Monty Python.   I can just see Eric Idle going into a CLIMATE CHANGE OFFICE staffed by John Cleese;        (~"I'd like a nicer climate please." ~ "I see. Would you like the planet warmer or colder? A cooler planet will cost you more....) Funny thing is, this is the law of the land and the jokes on you. Ha, ha.  Even the Climate Gate circus ring leader and co-conspirator of this hoax, Phil Jones, admitted that the infamous "hockey stick graph" was a fraud, that the planet has not warmed since 1995, (almost 2 decades now,) and that the earth has been far warmer in the past than it is right now.

And after all this, these same self described elitists persist to pester us with their advice.  And we get the same crap from the same crop of intellectuals each election cycle; they tell us that our "litmus tests" and tests for "purity" are passé and nothing but the uncouth mutterings of the unwashed masses.  We are told that our principles are just too high for the best and the brightest among us to pass muster.  Oh, really?  So we must allow for our candidates to fall for obvious frauds? Aren't we allowed just one tiny little "litmus test?"  Is it too much to ask that our candidates be able to read a thermometer?
