CBS foreign correspondent Lara Logan is lucky to be alive. On Sunday's 60 Minutes Logan recounted details of her horrific rape by hundreds of Arab Muslim men in Cairo's Tahir Square. The inhuman brutes that nearly killed her in February disappeared back into the crowd after the attack and will most likely never be brought to justice. In fact, under Sharia law, if Logan were an Egyptian woman she would be blamed for her own rape.
A woman's whole body, according to several hadiths, is awrah-the Arabic word for pudendum (the external genitals). It is natural that the sighting of awrah arouses men and creates an uncontrollable sexual urge.
This urge is specially very acute in Muslim men due to their higher sexual potency. Allah gives all Muslim men a higher libido to enable them to enjoy their sharia permitted four wives, and their slave girls/captured women (our prophet was given the libido of 30 men to enjoy his 9+ wives and the continuous supply of captured women from jihadi raids. Here is an example of our prophet's instant arousal at the sight of a woman)....
Get it? Muslim men can't help themselves. Australia's senior Muslim cleric speaking at the largest Mosque in Sydney, 2006 spoke in support of jailed Muslims accused of gang rape. He blamed the "immodest" women who "sway" with their bodies tempting the men: If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it...whose fault is it - the cats or the uncovered meat? The uncovered meat is the problem.
Logan's ordeal will undoubtedly shed light on what some journalists report as "an explosion" in sexual harassment toward females in western countries as well as the Middle East. Five years ago with an influx of immigrants, sexual crimes against women rose dramatically in all parts of Europe. In Scandinavian countries 70% of rapes were committed by Muslims who make up less than 5% of the population.
Some Muslim immigrants admit their bias quite openly. An Islamic Mufti in Copenhagen sparked a political outcry after publicly declaring that women who refuse to wear headscarves are "asking for rape." Apparently, he's not the only one thinking this way. "It is not as wrong raping a Swedish girl as raping an Arab girl," says Hamid. "The Swedish girl gets a lot of help afterwards. But the Arab girl will get problems with her family. For her, being raped is a source of shame. It is important that she retains her virginity until she marries.
The Quran specifically compels women to "draw their cloaks all over their bodies when leaving home." In 2002 the BBC reported that 15 schoolgirls died in a blazing fire when Saudi Police, part of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, beat the burning girls back into the building with a stick because they were not wearing the abaya. If any tried to help them they were warned that "it was sinful to approach" the young women. Nine years later during a people's freedom celebration in Egypt an innocent experienced American journalist became yet another victim of Islamic hatred aimed at women. When will there be an end to this madness?
