We've heard forever from Hollywood that movies and television shows that glorify violence don't inspire real-life violence. We keep hearing from video game makers that violent games don't inspire violence.
But, now we're expected to believe that metaphors inspire violence.
I must have somehow missed Paul Krugman's movie reviews of Kill Bill, Natural Born Killers, and Grand Theft Auto.
