PC poison; Evil is well served by fear and silence

The fear of being branded a racist or Islamophobe has kept British police, social workers and politicians from speaking out about a monstrous criminal epidemic sweeping the Midlands and northern counties of England. The UK Daily Mail reports that hundreds of young white girls between 11 and 16 years of age are being sexually exploited by older, predominantly Muslim men mostly from Britain’s Pakistani community.
A senior official at West Mercia police has called for an end to the ‘damaging taboo’ connecting on-street grooming with race.
Detective Chief Inspector Alan Edwards said, ‘These girls are being passed around and used as meat.’
‘To stop this type of crime you need to start everyone talking about it but everyone’s been too scared to address the ethnic factor.’
‘No one wants to stand up and say that Pakistani guys in some parts of the country are recruiting young white girls and passing them around their relatives for sex, but we need to stop being worried about the racial complication.’
The process of ‘grooming’ usually begins with older men (often in groups) striking up a friendship with young girls on the street. The girls are given gifts and lavished with attention until they begin to trust their new friends, then they are plied with drugs and alcohol and sexually abused by the men along with their friends and relatives. In one case a 14 year old girl was kept as a slave by a group of nine men for an extended period of time during which she was subjected to ‘sustained sexual abuse.’
Arrests are rare and only a tiny number of cases are ever tried in court. Researchers found that:
In total, 56 people, with an average age of 28, were found guilty of crimes including rape, child abduction, indecent assault and sex with a child.
Three of the 56 were white, 53 were Asian. Of those, 50 were Muslim and a majority were members of the British Pakistani community.
Those convicted allegedly represent only a small proportion of what one detective called a ‘tidal wave’ of offending in Yorkshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and the Midlands.
In 2003 when Ann Cryer (a Labour MP at the time) spoke up about the issue and said that the tradition of arranged marriages among Pakistanis was partly responsible for the targeting of young white girls for sex, she was vilified. In some circles it is acceptable to sexually abuse white girls because they are considered infidels and an inferior caste.
The despicable practice is not confined to Britain. In the Netherlands, Moroccan pimps known as ‘loverboys’ use similar tactics to recruit young white girls into prostitution.
The issue that few seem willing to confront is that this really is a racial matter. The violent and racist viewpoint that it is somehow acceptable to sexually abuse young white girls is at the core of this sickening crime. By refusing to deal with this problem, the government and law enforcement who are charged with the protection of the citizens have become enablers if not co-conspirators.
Many members of the Muslim and Pakistani community in Britain are appalled by these horrific crimes. Mohammed Shafiq, the director of the Ramadhan Foundation based in Lancashire was quoted as saying ‘I think the police are overcautious because they are afraid of being branded racist. These men are criminals and should be treated as criminals-whatever their race.’
This is yet another example of the liberal PC agenda run amok. Let’s be extra careful not to offend anyone, no matter how many young girls are abducted and sexually abused.
