Gary Berntsen for Senate

Carol Brown
We've got some great people running for office this year. Gary Berntsen is one of them.

Berntsen is running for the U.S. Senate in the state of New York. The primary is next month.

Berntsen, a husband and father of three, began his life of service as a Crash Firefighter in the Air Force. He then spent twenty three years working in Central Intelligence Agency's Clandestine Service. Berntsen is one of CIA's most decorated officers, receiving CIA's Distinguished Intelligence Medal and CIA's Intelligence Star. He retired from CIA in 2005.

As a national security expert he created The Berntsen Group, which offers security services around the world. He also works as a defense consultant.

Gary Berntsen speaks several languages and has authored several books (fiction and non-fiction), including a best seller.

Meanwhile, Berntsen is right on the issues, whether addressing the economy, health care, or national security.

Here is a snapshot from his website:

My name is Gary Berntsen, and I am seeking your support in my effort to unseat wayward Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer. I have no misconceptions about the enormity of the task ahead. I am confident that New Yorkers will respond with great enthusiasm to my message that it is time to "RIP" apart the business as usual approach coming out of Washington:

  • Rein in the out-of-control spending habits of Senator Schumer and his peers and bring real tax relief to New York families who are working hard but being crushed by taxes
Implement national security and foreign policy approaches that are in the best interest of America, rather than the current approach of apology and appeasement
  • Preserve small businesses and the jobs they provide and provide an environment for large businesses to prosper and bring in new revenues
  • Preserve small businesses and the jobs they provide and provide an environment for large businesses to prosper and bring in new revenues
  • America is the greatest nation on earth, but we have strayed from our core principles to the detriment of our security. Today we are at great risk, personally and collectively, from economic threats and international volatility.

Senator Schumer has ignored these security threats for too long. It is time for him to go.

Sure, he starts off with $21 million in his coffers - a good chunk coming from special interests and Washington insiders.  If he wastes these campaign dollars in the same way he has done with our hard-earned tax dollars, the task ahead may not be as daunting as it first appears. With you on my team, we are one important step closer to achieving the political upset of the year! Please sign up for our e-mail updates and consider sending me $50 to show Senator Schumer the door!
Let's get behind this candidate!
