Journalist Joel Mowbray, last seen on the pages of American Thinker commenting on a Congressional race in Florida , pens a piece for the Washington Times on Obama's attempt to ram a "peace" deal with the Palestinians down the throats of the Israelis. He thinks that such a deal would be welcomed by the enemies of America.
In my mind, that is par for the course for this golf-addicted President. Such a move would be a distraction, in Joel's view, from the areas that America should be focused on: the Taliban in Afghanistan, a teetering Iraq, a resurgent Al Qaeda. And sundry other threats to American interests. He dismisses the "logic" that somehow a peace deal between the Palestinians and the Israelis will have a domino effect, knocking down other problems facing us in the world. Well worth a read.
