February 14, 2010 DHS and its trouble with enemy identification
Shaun Waterman reports in the Washington Times that Department of Homeland Security's 108 page, Quadrennial Homeland Security Review does not once mention Islam, Islamic or Islamist. It does mention Al Qaeda five times but that's it when dealing with threats from the more fanatical followers of Mohammed.
So does that mean we have nothing to worry about from: Abu Nidal Organization Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade Ansar al Islam Egyptian Islamic Jihad Fatah al Islam Hamas Hezbollah Mujahedin e Khalq Muslim Brotherhood Palestine Liberation Front Taliban Just to mention a few. This is just a quick and partial list from Wikipedia. More comprehensive lists are available all over the Internet for anyone taking the time to Google list of terrorist organizations, which of course no one at Homeland security obviously thought to do, hmmm? America has lost thousands of her sons and daughters to Islamist fanatics who want nothing less than our total domination by their religion, but the people charged with protecting us from the threat of further death and destruction can't bring themselves to correctly identify the threat? Political correctness has progressed beyond being ridiculous. It is now deadly. |
