Steve Kroft's interview of President Obama on 60 Minutes has yielded its most famous quote. From USA Today's account:
Obama occasionally laughed during discussion of the nation's economic woes, prompting interviewer Steve Kroft to ask, "Are you punch drunk?"
"There's got to be a little gallows humor to get you through the day," Obama said.
I want to know who is being hanged, and who is the hangman? It seems to me the answer is, respectively, capitalists and Obama. President Obama has a press conference scheduled tomorrow. Somehow I doubt my question will be asked.
