Hans Blix, the former UN weapons inspector in Iraq has put himself on record pooh-poohing the danger of proliferating nuclear weapons in the hands of Arab states. In an
interview in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Germany's most prestigious newspaper, he goes on record stating:

Everything involves risks, including atomic energy. But in the long run I'm more worried about global warming than about weapons of mass destruction.
