The candidates' websites respond to Gustav (or not)
An interesting contrast: John McCain's home page features an appeal to help the victims of Gustav, and features Cindy McCain with a call to serve the country. Meanwhile Barack Obama's home page announces "Barack Obama accepts the Democratic nomination" and asks for your email address and zip code before proceeding further.Obama said yesterday afternoon when he cancelled his speech that he would monitor NOLA and would get message out and donations his web page. I go to his web page and he wants my email.
When I look at Obama's web site, I can't help but to think of that old song, 'Taking Care of Business'.
