A pact that must not be rejected

We've had our disappointments with the Secretary of State, but Condoleezza Rice's article today at Real Clear Politics arguing for ratification of the United-States-Colombia Free Trade Pact is a pleasant surprise.

There's also a prestige issue connected to it. If the Senate ratifies it, then American producers will be able to export their products (customs-free) to millions of Colombian customers. Products whose labels will proudly say "Made in the USA".
