Nader on Obama

Ed Lasky
Enter Ralph Nader, dropping the insight that, in his opinion, Obama "talks white."

"He wants to appeal to white guilt,"
Nader says in an interview with M.E. Sprengelmeyer of the Rocky Mountain News. "You appeal to white guilt not by coming on as black is beautiful, black is powerful. Basically he's coming on as someone who is not going to threaten the white power structure, whether it's corporate or whether it's simply oligarchic. And they love it. Whites just eat it up."

How true. No group likes to suffer for their imagined sins like white liberals. And the only way to assuage that guilt is to prove to the entire world that they are better, more tolerant, more open minded, - just plain better than the rest of us - by voting for a black man for president.

If it was possible you could imagine liberals doing away with the secret ballot so that everyone would know what truly holy people they were by voting for Obama.

And once the Obama Administration begins to go south, these white liberals will be the bitter enders - the ones who hang on to Obama as messiah longer than anyone. They will simply refuse to believe that their elevated opinion of Obama's abilities were in error.

Pathetic.
