Banning Muslim prayers
Ethel C. Fenig
Freedom of religion, freedom to worship, freedom to gather for prayers are foundations of our culture and now also in Europe. Taking advantage of these freedoms, Muslims in Europe and the US are demanding public accommodations to their religious needs such as foot baths in public bathrooms. But they have been strangely silent when one Muslim group banned another from outdoor prayer. Hamas has banned outdoor prayer gatherings in the Gaza Strip, just days after supporters of the rival Fatah group used them to mount mass protests.
I await CAIR and its ilk accusing Hamas of anti-Muslim bias.
