Speedy Al (a poem)

Russ Vaughn
A thing we all contend with


As a decidedly un-green nation,


Is Al Gore's global warming myth


And his gaseous pontification.


But little Al's a different breed,


Not so pure nor quite so pious,


Showed us how Greens still love speed,


By doing a hundred in a Prius.
